Freeware program for viewing, editing and conversion of GIF, ICO and BMP icons, also acts as a GIF animator. Allows conversion of supported formats in all ways - gif2ico, gif2bmp, ico2gif, ico2bmp, bmp2ico, bmp2gif. DDS is image generating and editing software, what sets it appart from other similar programs is the ability to fine-tune even the low-level options of each one of its tools. Brush shapes, blending modes, fadings, layer proprieties, flood fills and spline curves - all of them and many more can be defined in great detail, by the user. Furthermore, the features offered by DDS can be easily extended by adding new plug-ins (the communication protocol between the host and the plug-in is simple enough for even the beginner programmer to use). PerlinTool is a program for generating unique random images that are nice for a number of applications, the images do well as desktop wallpapers or artwork for web designers. Game developers should also find a number of uses for the images including generating height maps, impressive hilly landscapes may be generated automatically with this tool. Technically speaking, the images are produced using a turbulence formula based on the phenomena known as Perlin noise (introduced by Ken Perlin). This tool was made in an attempt to allow the typical end-user a chance to play with this fascinating image creation technique. Any resolution and a number of image formats are supported. FirePaint helps you manage your images with ease and speed using two different sidebars both of which can be customized to your preferences. The first one is a 'My Favorite Images' image browser and the second one is a 'Quick Results' form that performs almost every image-edit function. Furthermore it supports many filetypes and has the ability to cconvert an image to a different filetype. The built-in ability to check for updates helps you stay in touch with the new versions and fixes without having to worry about it MrImage is a free, OpenSource, raster image editing application more powerful than MSPaint but still easy to use. It is full-featured, supports most common graphics formats and provides a multitude of tools to work with. 16 Draw Tools include Pencil, Eraser, Brush, FloodFill and more. 24 Transform/Filter Tools include Feather Tool, Jitter Tool, Contour Tool, Red-Eye Removal and much more. Brush Strokes Image Editor 1.01 A free image editor with loads of features such as creating GIF animations, capturing video frames, and lots of file formats. Create images for websites, adjust colours in photos, apply filters and transformations, magic wand selections and more. Has a higher degree of visual feedback than many paint programs. Colour Editor can change a particular colour in a bitmap to another colour when there are a lot of seperated regions of the colour, which would take a long time to change by filling each one. It can also change colours that are not exactly the same by adjusting the tolerance, which can be used to edit colours in photos. BIMP (Batch Image Processor)is a small batch image editor which allows you to perform various functions on mulitple images. It's a "must have" utility for webmasters as whole directories of images can be converted to different formats (JPG, GIF, BMP etc.), resized, prefixed, suffixed, thumbnailed and have spaces removed. Other functions include: Antialias, Emboss, Rotate, Flip Horizontally and Flip Vertically. Advanced image editing, enhancement and analysis software. DeKnop (dutch for "The Button") is a graphics editor that is designed to let you create buttons for your web site without requiring any graphic design experience. It provides an easy to use step-by-step interface that lets you select the text, font style, color, 3D bevel, size, gradients and many other aspects. You can preview any changes that you make as it takes place, so it is easy to experiment a little until you decide on a design you like. It offers support for automatic up/down effects for use in mouse over java scripts as well as gradients and more. Support for other languages (Dutch, French, Spanish) is available as a separate download. There are only a few steps to making high quality thumbnails (jpeg only). It currently supports more than a dozen different fractal types, including M-Sets, N-Sets and N/M-Sets. A unique formula parser gives you full control over the coloring of the fractals, either using a preset 256-color palette, or applying different formulas to RGB or HLS color space. Image size is only limited by the available memory. Additional features include integration of plasma clouds, several filters, and various fractal options such as inverted fractals. New version includes: transparency, background stretch support as well as the ability to save your buttons. Also includes MANY more textures. xSite is a web development tool with a difference. It borrows many of the features seen in other RAD development packages available today and implements them in a web design tool. Things such as syntax highlighting, a Tag Object Inspector, Palette toolbar and other RAD features are all to be found in xSite. xSite even allows you to download "plugins" from the internet, place them into the plugins subdirectory and use the new plug-in within xSite. Many xSite'ing features and plugins are planned so please check back here as often as possible! Although it is still incomplete, it offers many more exciting features than the original program. Included are :3D balls, multiple gradients, color inversion, rotation, more file supports, and ease of use. Keep in mind this is a BETA and some features are not available yet.
