FTPAutoGen is designed to automatically upload file changes found in a specific folder. FTPAutoGen will detect file creates and modifications and the file will be uploaded to the user-defined FTP site. File changes such as name changes, size changes, attribute changes, and more will be detected. An additional option allows for an email to be sent to notify the user of what has happened. It saves you a lot of time clicking into the directories of ftp servers and looking for files using your eyes. FtpSearch is especially useful when you have a broad-band connection, otherwise the speed advantage of parallel searching is limited. This program will allow you to share any FTP account with your friends. Simply send them the program and your encrypted account.ini file and they can upload or download to the directory you specify. Notepad FTP is designed for the person who has experience with FTP clients and shell accounts, but does a lot of file editing by hand. It is a standard file editor, with a quick little FTP client built in, allowing you to connect, edit and disconnect, just as fast as you could with a shell account. Many ISPs are not offering shell accounts anymore, and NotepadFTP fills the gap. This program will monitor for a user defined batch file and will execute the instructions within. Very useful when used in tandem with FTP as you can then send batch file requests remotely. Since the filename and path are user defined the program can be made secure from hacking attempts. Often (using Dial Up Networking or similar programs) you sometimes have files or directories that cannot be accessed or are locked. Using this remote batch file method you can cause your computer to react to DOS commands as though you were typing the commands directly on the system itself. Of couse it could also be used with networks as well since it simply looks for the presence of a file in a certain directory.
